Welcome! 

Hi everyone! My name is Mallory and I am a sophomore at Florida State University. I am majoring in Family and Child Sciences and minoring in Education. My focus is to work with kids in some way although I am not exactly sure what yet. A little bit about me is that I love Italian food and my favorite color is pink. I also used to cheer and I have been and All-star cheer leading and gymnastics coach for 4 years now. This has allowed me to incorporate my two passions, cheer and working with children, into one. 

My prior experience with technology in an educational setting has really just been basic. I have used things like Word and PowerPoint to complete assignments for classes. This is what I use a majority of the time. I have also used several different software's to access things like online textbooks and practices questions and tests for some classes as well. 

I hope to learn a lot about the uses of technology in an educational setting in this class. Since education is my minor, teaching could definitely be a possibility so it is important to learn how to use these technologies and apply them into a classroom setting. I also hope to learn more about technology and programs that I am not so familiar with ans see how they apply as well.

Blog 6 There are many things that teachers decide to put on their class pages. Most of the time, teachers include an about me page so that their students and parents can get to know them better. They also include a daily schedule so that parents can know exactly what goes on in their child's classroom.
